ART & INTERVENTION

The humble COVID-19 mask has instigated the creation of incredible works of art inspired by makers’ stories, agency, and inventiveness. Artists and designers responded to the pandemic in diverse and creative ways through mask masking. Their projects support frontline workers, social causes, the livelihoods and well-being of their communities, and highlight issues around identity and cultural heritage.
