Vestir la pandemia

Una Exhibición Virtual de Máscaras Faciales COVID-19 de todo el mundo

Embroidered mask

With no practical use, the handmade masks become a creative leisure activity. The young donor, 19 years old, confesses her anxiety about the situation for her studies, but also the pleasure of this state of suspended vacation. She used this time to make these creative masks with her mother while learning embroidery. The embroidered labels evoke the words of lockdown and the symbolic date of its decree, March 17th 2020.
