Happy Hour mask
The Happy Hour mask, with a concealed opening that fits a straw, was launched on Instagram 25 June 2020 as Toronto's cocktail patios re-opened after lockdown. It encourages people to support local businesses, get outside, and see friends while “sipping in style.” Helene Clarkson Design, specializing in travel clothing, was hard-hit by COVID-19. The mask was a gamble that paid off as sales took off. Michael Jahantab, who has worked with the firm for almost ten years, came back to work and sewed over 1000 masks in the first month.
