Christophe Mari’s Mask Collection

The donor is a hospital engineer at the Assistance publique des hôpitaux de Marseille. His collection of masks was made by volunteer sewers at the beginning of the lockdown and given to him for protection against the virus The initiatives to support the nursing staff are numerous in the MUCEM collection, such as the making of masks or overcoats with recycled materials ranging from sheets to hot-air balloon fabric.
