Mask by Tamar Nix & Tamar Shamir

Understanding the new needs of society, textile designers Tamar Nix and Tamar Shamir decided to create protective, soft and sleek fashion masks. The masks are made of thin, flexible and soft fabric, that suits the hot and humid Israeli Mediterranean climate. The mid-layer is an antimicrobial filter, which due to copper ions remains sterilized. The cloth filter was developed in Israel by an epidemiologist and registered as a patent, making the mask both protective and fashionable at the same time. Nevertheless, it is not a medical product and has not been tested according to medical standards.
