A Virtual Exhibition of COVID-19 Face Masks from Around the World

Open source face shield

Created right upon the first outbreak of the Covid-19 virus, the upgraded face shield was adapted by Elmaliah, manager of Shenkar Digital Modeling Center, to provide protection for medical teams during a shortage of masks. Elmaliah partnered with the medical staff of Hadassah Hospital in order to understand their needs and created a face shield that can be 3D printed on demand to protect as much as possible. The shields were made and delivered to them from Shenkar but can be easily printed in the hospital or at any 3D home printer.
