Map mask
The donor explains that this improvised mask was created from one of his old shirts that was made in China by his father, with his grandmother's sewing machine. He tells us: "The mask has travelled a lot". It is making is the symbol of an intergenerational circulation between members of the family. On a global scale, the recycling of the shirt to the mask, follows a trajectory that takes us from China to France evoking the viral propagation of the COVID-19 pandemic.
